SBHG leads the way in Communication Innovation
With The Life Channel, a bespoke digital TV channel for GP
surgeries and health centres across Hammersmith & Fulham in
London, SBHG can now reach greater audiences in more cost-effective
and targeted ways, with campaigns relating to their products and
services.
Programmes on The Life Channel will revolve around health and
well-being issues, including cooking and exercise sections, to
encourage viewers to improve the quality of their lives. For SBHG
the channel is an ideal vehicle to promote the wide range of
products and services available, which they believe can enhance
individuals' quality of life.
Starting with a shared ownership campaign for their Bush Homes
brand, SBHG has produced a high-quality promotional device that
should excite potential customers. Other campaigns to follow
include a supporting people service infomercial and a furniture
recycling appeal.
David Blackburn, SBHG's HR & Business Support Director
(pictured) says: "It's incredibly exciting for SBHG to be at the
technological forefront for Housing Associations. We believe this
communications channel will enable us to reach both the existing
communities we serve and new audiences, with greater impact and
lower costs per recipient."
At the Chelsea Football Club (FC) launch event several key
organisations became advertising partners, including Hammersmith
& Fulham's Primary Care Trust, Standing Together Against
Domestic Violence, Chelsea FC's community scheme, and Samsung. All
of them, albeit from different areas, share a common aim - to
communicate more widely, with more diverse audiences.
