Tenant Monitor
What is a tenant monitor?
Tenants who volunteer to give monthly comments on the work of our
contractors, as part of the monitoring of cleaning and gardening
services provided to tenants.
What do they do?
Once a month the volunteer tenants complete a form regarding the
quality of the work and any other comments they might have. This
allows tenants to have their input into the quality and range of
services provided as part of their service charge, and is used to
constantly improve those services.
What are we doing to improve our contractors?
Two
tenants are included on the interview panel for the selection of
the cleaning and gardening contracts. The panel also included a
committee member (also a tenant), and a member of staff. This
allowed the panel to draw on the experiences of those tenants as
part of the selection process.
How do I volunteer?
The Tenant Monitors also have direct access to their Neighbourhood
Officer and receive a thank you gift each Christmas in the form of
a £25 Mark's and Spencer voucher. If you would be interested in
becoming a Tenant Monitor, you can either write to the Craft Court
Housing Management Office at 55 Glenthorne Road, Hammersmith W6
OLJ, or call on 020 8222 7300.
