Allocation and lettings team
Also based at our Essex Place Square office in Chiswick, this team
is responsible for the letting of all SBHA's empty properties,
arranging for new tenants to move and for nominations from our
partner Local Authorities.
They also manage the Association's transfer queue, including
those moving for medical reasons and are responsible for mutual
exchanges (swapping properties).
Income officers team
This team is responsible for the collection of SBHA's rent,
tackling all levels of rent arrears and implementing the
Association's rent arrears policies.
They target tenants not paying their rent, refer cases to the
County Court if necessary and carry out evictions.
They are experts in welfare benefits and can access debt
counselling if needed. However, their main aim is to reduce the
rent arrears and beware! - They'll contact you if you are in rent
arrears.
